Magnolia Lighting

Winner, East/Atlantic Region

Family-owned, Mississippi-based lighting retailer Magnolia Lighting has been in business since 1984, according to the company’s website. It operates an 8,000 square-foot showroom in Hernando as well as satellite showrooms in Oxford, Tupelo and Ridgeland, Miss. In addition to lighting, the store carries door hardware and home accessories, and said it is committed to stocking 90% of everything it displays in its showrooms.

Lightology

Winner, Midwest/Southwest Region

Lightology operates a three-story, glass-enclosed showroom in Chicago’s River North neighborhood where it offers complimentary design services such as virtual staging and renders, customized lighting systems and CEUs and virtual events, in addition to a wide assortment of every type of lighting. It is no stranger to the awards circuit: it won the ARTS showroom of the year award in 2024 and 2018, received the Lightovation Showroom of the Year award for “outstanding merchandising display” multiple times, and has received recognition for its design from multiple other sources.

Ultra Design Center

Winner, West Region

Denver-based and family-owned, Ultra Design Center started out as a door and cabinet hardware company, later expanded into plumbing, bath furniture and home accessories, and in 2019 added lighting to its expanded 15,000 square-foot showroom. Its product lineup includes those that cannot be found in Colorado and it has a large team that services its design center. “We live and breathe fixtures every day,” the company says on its website.

“We are honored to be an Arts Award winner and are thankful to all those involved in the selection process for the acknowledgment,” said Lighting Division Manager Lesa Martin. “We are proud of our team of professionals, and their hard work for making Ultra Design Center a showroom worthy of such an award.”
